Why do most translators of kafka's the metamorphosis choose to use the term vermin instead of cockroach?
a) cockroach does not translate into german, and kafka would not have known the word.
b) vermin is less specific, so the reader feels as confused as gregor about what is happening.
c) vermin is commonly used word, and more people would understand it.
d) the word cockroach makes the reader feel as if gregor's character is unclean
