There are three reasons for this answer. The first one is that majority of e-mail structures hide the contact information at the top of the e-mail to drive the user directly to the content. Second, the first part off the e-mail is greeting and presentation. While the second part is the body of the message. The third reason, it facilitates the answer because the reader will have read all the messages and if the last portion of the e-mail had our contact information the reader won't have to look for it in the first or second part of the e-mail.
