In his essay on the growing influence of Hispanic people on American culture, Ray Suarez concludes, "We ignore them at our peril." What do you think he means? I think he means that hispanic people are quite numerous in the US and their numbers have been growing and they take jobs that WASP Americans won't do like picking grapes or housework/homecare so are becoming a growing force economically and politically.
