Well, not knowing jim specifically i would say he has basic stereotypes given sadly. i am not going to write your 150 word thing but i will give you evidence and brief explanation.

blackface is a style of theatrical makeup that originated in the united states, used to effect the countenance of an iconic, racist american archetype — that of the darky or coon. white blackface performers in the past used burnt cork and later greasepaint or shoe polish to blacken their skin and exaggerate their lips, often wearing woolly wigs, gloves, tailcoats, or ragged clothes to complete the transformation. basically, white people did this including a jim crow.

unless you're talking about another jim who actually is a african american, it's mainly looks and how because they either don't go to school or go to school up to around 4th grade, in the stereotype they're said to be "stupid" but it's because they still believe that every african american doesn't know how to do "schooling" because it's in hereditery which is absoloutly incorrect because anyone is capable with lacking knowledge at any age
