Draw a conclusion as to why a counter-argument is important to persuasive writing.

1. A counter-argument makes an argument stronger; if it's done well.
2. It gives the writer a chance to respond to the reader's objections.
3. It shows the writer as a logical person who has thought about both sides of the argument.
