"why did the therapist put his dog in the dog pound? ''

it was a very boring day and the 27 year old therapist named john. he was sick of resolving peoples problems and tried being a happy person outside of his job. he decided to go to the dog pound to adopt a puppy. he decided to get a golden retriever he was 6 weeks old. he named him harry because he had a little scratch on his forehead like harry potter.

as soon as he picked him up and took him to his car harry was very playful. when john put harry in his car he jumped from the backseat to the drivers seat. john laughed as he picked him up and put him on the passenger seat. it was a 37 minute drive and harry was exhausted so he passed out. john finally arrived to his apartment and carried harry there.

john went to the closet and got 2 blankets. he put them in the bathroom and put harry on them. it was 9: 35 pm and has to wake up at 6 am for work so he fell asleep. harry wakes up at 5: 12 am and starts whimpering because he doesn't know where he is. john wakes up and picks harry up and puts him on his bed and they both sleep.

ever since then they had a really playful and happy life. it's been 5 years now and john is 32 years old. he has a girlfriend now and she doesn't like dogs. she tell him "it's me or the dog." as john stares at harry and says "what do i do to him? ''. put him where he came from. john loads harry in the car and takes him to the shelter. he left him there as harry was whimpering and fighting the people who worked there to go to john.

john cries a little and gets to the car. he was starting the car as he realized harry is the reason that john smiled and had good times in his life. he quickly turns off his car and runs back. john gets him back, as the employees bring him out harry jumps on top of john and licks his face. john is laughing and races harry to the car. they get home and john te s his girlfriend "i chose harry." as she gets mad and leaves.

"i'm sorry boy, we'll always be together." and they lived happily ever after blah blah blah. the end.

[1] nothing that comes from the desert expresses its extremes better than the unhappy growth of the tree yuccas. tormented, thin forests of it stalk drearily in the high mesas, particularly in that triangular slip that fans out eastward from the meeting of the sierras and coastwise hills. the yucca bristles with bayonet-pointed leaves, dull green, growing shaggy with age like an old [5] man's tangled gray beard, tipped with panicles of foul, greenish blooms. after its death, which is slow, the ghostly hollow network of its woody skeleton, with hardly power to rot, makes even the moonlight fearful. but it isn't always this way. before the yucca has come to flower, while yet its bloom is a luxurious, creamy, cone-shaped bud of the size of a small cabbage, full of sugary sap. the indians twist it deftly out of its fence of daggers and roast the prize for their [10] own delectation why does the author use the words "bayonet-pointed" (line 4) and "fence of daggers" (line 9) to describe the leaves of the yucca tree? . to create an image of the sharp edges of the plant to emphasize how beautiful the plant's leaves are to explain when and where the plant grows to show how afraid the author is of the plant
