Using his cunning techniques, he tricks Cyclops and helps his people and himself to escape from his cave. He also warns and restricts his people not to taste the Lotus but some of his men tasted it and suffered from loosing hope of returning back to their home. He helped some of his men to escape from the land of Lotus.
