Going to the State Fair in the early days of fall was a perfect way to spend a Thursday. For example, the temperature was a comfortable 69 degrees. In addition, the lines for the best rides were at a minimum because only school groups who scheduled in advance attended this special fair experience. Furthermore, the price was right! You could ride any ride all day for one price. The variety of fair foods completed the experience. I saw someone eating fried Kool-aid! This year, I chose to stick with elephant ears and spiral spuds. But who knows, maybe next year. Our school’s annual tradition of going to the fair cannot be topped. Which sentence provides commentary information for elaboration on the passage? A) This year the lines for the Topple Tower were shorter than the lines for the Looping Starship. B) One-price ride ticket could be purchased in advance for twenty dollars, or at the gate for twenty-five dollars. C) Fried Kool-aid pieces are doughnut-sized morsels made from eggs, sugar, flour, Kool-aid beverage powder, and oil of course. D) The aroma had a way of wafting over each of us, drawing us closer to the food vendors to make our selections from among sugary delights or famously fried treats.
