(11) These white moose have also been seen in various areas of Alaska and Canada but are most common in the vast forests of Sweden and Norway in Europe. (12) With the number of predators, such as bears and wolves, in North America, it is unlikely that the populations of white moose will increase too much. (13) The animals' white fur keep them from being able to camouflage themselves in the forest, making them easy prey.
