Honors Credit Romeo and Juliet are having trouble seeing one another because their families are
enemies. Nevertheless, they have found an ingenious (brilliant) way to communicate
with one another: text messaging! Due to a careless moment, however, Romeo's phone
was dropped on the cobblestone streets of Verona, Italy, and is now destroyed. Your
job is to recreate one of the following conversations between Romeo and Juliet:

1. Act 1, scene 5 - Romeo and Juliet meet for the first time at the Capulet masquerade.

2. Act 2, scene 2 - The balcony scene where Romeo and Juliet exchange promises of
their love and agree to marry that next morning.

3. An Undiscovered Scene - Try creating your own scene that doesn't actually exist in the
play. Perhaps they sneak away from the party and share a moment? Perhaps they met a
few years back, but still, remember the moment? Perhaps they meet for breakfast early
the next morning before they marry?
