Creating: Pick a scene from ACT I and adapt the setting to a modern place and time. Directions: You must re-write the scene placing it in a modern time and place of your choice. You may change the language, dialogue, tone/mood, names of characters, and even the overall purpose of the scene. (You must be able to explain all of your choices.) The scene will resemble a script, meaning the characters will have to exchange dialogue and you must provide setting details and stage directions. (The scene should not be word for word).
