they do it when they don't have to? Across time and place, people have risked their lives for the people they love, the causes they believe in,
and personal freedom. What would you risk your life for? In a personal essay, describe what you would risk your life for and why. As you write,
draw connections between your experience and that of Atticus in To Kill a Mockingbird or the characters in the excerpt from Mous who help hide
Anja and Vladek.
