The man kept running. He wouldn't stop. Though the man was big, and he almost looked like a bullfighter, the cop was bigger. The cop ran, tackled the criminal and pinned him to the ground, in the middle of the street.

The car lurched to a stop, right as my heart pounded in my ribcage. What did this man do?

The man started screaming; I could hear it from the car.

"I'm sorry! I didn't know!" The man wailed.

The officer tapped on his ear. He must have been taking orders. Unfortunately, as I was about to learn, the order was simple.

Kill him.

The officer drew his gun from his black case, flipped it open, and in one swift move, aimed and fired.

The man's wails ceased, right as a loud boom echoed through the street. Then a loud BEEP rang through the air.

The man was dead.
