Leo switched back to the original tank and started heading back to town. They had travelled for about twelty minutes when the engine died again. They had run out of fuel. Fortunately they were on a part of the lagoon that wasn't too deep, so Leo was able to jump into the water and pull the boat along. The four friends used their fins from snorkeling to try to help, but laughed thinking that they were not really doing everything. To their surprise, no one panicked, including Asim. He had survived swimming with sharks, so nothing else bothered him now. At least the sun was shining and they were together, and now had a great story to tell their friends about being marooned in the middle of the Pacific Ocean (leaving out the part about it being in a lagoon).
