Meghan didn't like “women” because it implied that only girls did the dishes. She did not think that was fair & accurate. Meghan wrote a letter to Proctor & Gamble, the manufacturer of Ivory, asking them to change the word in their commercial.

After receiving her letter, Proctor & Gamble fixed their commercial. They replaced the word “women” with “people.” during an interview with Nickelodeon , young Meghan offered this advice, “If you see something that you don't like or are offended by, say something, you can make a difference, not just for you but for everyone
