Write a story which ends with the sentence, we were lucky that night​

It started with me and my friends sneaking after dark into the forest. Our parents always told us to stay away from it, but never explained why. So naturally we were curious as to what was in the forest that had our parents so finicky about even the word. It was called Mason's forest, named after the town founder who was as mysterious as the forest itself. We snuck out about 11:45pm, midnight was the time everyone said never to go out in so we decide to do, again, the complete opposite of what our parents and everyone else said. It was me, Hadrian, and Kayla, the three caballeros, heading into the forest. When we got into the forest it was noting out of the ordinary, so we decide to go toward the very center of Mason's Forest and wait to see what happened at midnight. Our minds set we head of toward the middle, which was easy to find because of the humongous willow tree that sat dead smack in the middle of the forest. It wasn't until 11:55pm that things started to get strange. We we about half a mile away from the tree when all the mushrooms on the the trees started glowing an unearthly blue. It was startling to say the least, but we didn't worry. "Maybe they're bioluminescent mushroom, those exist." Hadrian suggested. We nodded, knowing that was the only explanation that made the most logical sense. I couldn't help but feel, though something wasn't right. Why would mushrooms all of a sudden, at 11:55pm exactly, start glowing? It didn't make sense and it confused me. Putting my confusing thoughts in a box for later, we came up at the willow tree just at 11:58pm. It was much prettier than we had expected it to be; the willow tree had some fireflies in it's hanging flowers and that made it have a faint golden glow. We sat underneath the willow tree just talking, waiting patiently for midnight. Little did we know we would greatly regret are decision to come into this forest. It was a few seconds until midnight and we were excited, ready to prove to the world we were afraid of nothing. That was when it happened. The watch on my rest turned 12:00 and everything went dark. We didn't scream, knowing it would probably lead to us getting it even more trouble. We huddle closer together, knowing it would be best if we stayed closer together. That was when we saw it; two glowing amber eyes staring dead at us, sharp breaths were like throughout the quiet forest as if they were made louder by speakers. We were shaking as we watched the eyes watch us, the only light we had was the light of the fool moon, but that was only on us, the creature was hidden amongst the darkness of the forest. It watched us a bit longer before sharply turning around a running of into the deeper part of the forest, then the forest seemed to come back to life and everything started glowing gain. Standing there with my friends questions swirled my head making the for later box overflowing with for later questions. Joining my friends we headed home, sneaking in through our windows, and went to bed. It was quite the adventure and it obviously wouldn't be the last, but now as I think back to that day, not knowing what that thing was, all I can think is; we were lucky that night.

i believe they had died over the love they had for each other, strong enough that their lives could end so suddenly if something horrible had come between them, and that was exactly how it happened. this tragedy occurred within five days of the two meeting, they experienced love at first sight, got married and quickly were dead. free will became a part of this when juliet decided to take friar laurence’s advise in inhaling a potion that will make people assume she is died but will awake in 42 hours prier to when she took it. when romeo had heard the news that juliet was dead, he assumed it was true, and responded with the line; “well juliet, i will lay with thee tonight”. to me this line indicated how he feels for juliet by dying in her will. the fact that free will didn’t take control of the story; it left fate to be the murder of the lovers. fate first kicked in when their eyes met at the capulet party. when romeo and juliet spoke, their words had powerful contentment; they had such a strong feeling for one another that they could lay in each other’s arms forever. their happiness didn’t last long; there were many reasons for this, for example; the marriage lord capulet arranged between paris and juliet. i believe that the plot of the play thus far leads the audience to believe that the deaths were a result of fate. the last act will determine once and for all if it is fate or free will. romeo again challenges fate.
