Their teacher arrives just as the sun is about to appear, and she takes the children outside to enjoy the sunlight for its brief time. As they are running, jumping, and playing in the sunlight, they forget about Margot, who remains locked in the closet. Too soon, a student feels a raindrop fall on her as a storm approaches. The children run inside, where they remember Margot and let her out of the closet, but it is too late. The precious sun, that she has been waiting so long to see, is gone.
