I’m not the best at hooks but i’m good at writing thesis stammers so here !

Industrial water pollution has been a problem in China for some time now and it has yet to get better, honestly it just seems to get worse as time goes on. Because of this many citizens in the rural areas of China are left with unsanitary water that contains large amounts of bacteria. And since these citizens and relatively poor they aren’t really able to solve this issue on their own.

Here are some starters, but I don't know your topic, so these could work for most generic topics:

Can you imaging not being able to use clean water on a daily basis?If you had no clean water, what would you do?Most of us have clean water, but what if we didn't?Are we expected to walk around knowing that people in the world have minimal or no access to clean water?

Explanation:

You could also start our answer with a mind blowing fact, such as a Did you know that ? Another good way to do it would be to start with a quotation, or a simile/metaphor.
