In the chapter, "A Brabant Boy," we read about van Gogh's early life. There is a fair amount of discussion about his family and the way they interacted with van Gogh when he was quite young. Think about your family and the relationships you have with each member of the family. How do you relate to each of them? Do you behave differently when you are around different members of your family? Do you remember things about your childhood differently than other people in your family? Write a two-paragraph journal entry describing your relationship to your family members. Focus on how your relations with each person in your family are unique.
