describe the three characters in "the raven" and explain relationship or the connection between those three characters

The characters from Poe's The Raven are the unnamed speaker, Lenore, and of course the raven.  What connects these characters is the speaker's love for Lenore, and the raven is a representation of death.  The speaker is grieving over his lovers' death and this raven is like a prophetic being showing the speaker that loss and grief will always be a part of life.
