In my personal opinion, teenagers are going through so many changes. Not only physically and chemically within their body, but also their surroundings. They are growing up and things are changing, this can cause a lot of strong emotions. And especially at a young age, controlling those emotions aren't down to a science yet. So they rebel in order to feel control of their lives or just simply for attention. Sometimes it isn't so much as rebelling as it is a calling for help. Drastic and irrational decision making are signs of distress.

also this is a really easy journal entry, you can just think of a skill your good at and write did you work hard to become good at this skill (ex: drawing, writing, math, playing music, etc.) or does it come naturally (like a cool trick that you can do with your body). you can do all of that in 150 words. just try and think of a talent and even if your bad at this talent just say your working hard to become good at it.
