Autocracy is represented by a form of government where all political power is centralized in a single ruler. These rulers, therefore, are capable of carrying out situations according to their own wishes, without anyone stopping them. Within the autocracy, the cult of the leader's persoanlity was very common, where movements and reforms were constructed that represented his power, or those he decided to honor. In these attempts to present the power they possessed through buildings, the autocratic leaders of China and India created the Great Wall of China and the Taj Mahal, as imposing and lasting elements, representing their political powers and governance capabilities.
