Hey so im bored and i remembered this poem i made a long time ago and i think its cringy asl so yea here it is : Waves splashing in my face and i can't get a break waves pulling me back and forth not knowing if im going south to north.
Breathe i keep telling myself but the water is going to hurry up my lungs.
Swim to safety i tell myself but the waves are pulling me down
Mom! Mom! I thought in my head but by the time she comes ill already be dead.
Memories start flashing in my head, when me and my brother used to jump on the bed
Im moving as fast as i can but the waves are pulling me in
HELP! HELP! But everyone is gone in the distance
Tears coming down my face
Is this how it ends?
Im drowning
Im drowning by my thoughts, water, and weight.
SAVE ME FROM MY FEARS but oops sorry its too late.
yeahhh i know im weird :)

Which sentences from part 1 of the call of the wild would best serve as evidence of the theme "sometimes survival depends on knowing when not to fight"? buck had accepted the rope with quiet dignity. to be sure, it was an unwonted performance: but he had learned to trust in men he knew, and to give them credit for a wisdom that outreached his own. he had merely intimated his displeasure, in his pride believing that to intimate was to command. but to his surprise the rope tightened around his neck, shutting off his breath. he saw, once for all, that he stood no chance against a man with a club. he had learned the lesson, and in all his after life he never forgot it. that had given them an unfair advantage; but now that it was off, he would show them. they would never get another rope around his neck.
