Write a story about a magical place

The sky was grey and cloudy. I watched as little raindrops slid down my window. As we drove I saw the trees, that looked like they were dancing in the wind. I sluggishly got out of the car, and walked into my Aunty Lea's apartment.

I dragged myself up what felt to be 100 flights of stairs. I layed on my bed staring at the ceiling . I stared out the window thinking about everything but it was getting late so I went to sleep. I slept like a log which was good because I hadn't had a good sleep in days. I flew from Los Angeles, California to Perth Western Australia. I'm living with my Aunty now along with my two brothers and my little sister. We're staying with our Aunty Lea over the Summer, like we do every year. Whenever we stay here I normally just sit up in my bedroom I always stay in and do nothing. I'm not a creative and fun person: I would describe myself as boring. I never really used to have a good imagination and still don't.

I woke up to the beautiful sound of birds chirping, I could hear everyone outside playing soccer on a beautiful sunny summers day. I spent almost a whole day doing nothing. I went to bed early that night because I didn't have anything else to do.

I woke and saw a whistle on the edge of my dresser. It was sparkling gold with a red ribbon on the end, it looked kind of Christmassy. I picked it up and blew it. The whistle made a high pitch sound. I kept blowing on it as I sat on the edge of my bed, waiting for something to happen. I didn't know what was going to happen.

With one last blow I shut my eyes and when I opened them again I was in a magical world everyone was flying, watermelons were everywhere and money grew off trees! Everything was purple and the clouds were made from marshmallows and rained chocolate drops. Whenever you turned the tap on it would pour out anything you want. Nothing was unhealthy so you could eat as much sugar as you wanted.

Suddenly a whole bunch of people came running at me like a stampede of elephants.

"Hello. I'm Candy Pop nice to meet you. Welcome to Candy Land!" said one of the people.

"Where is this place?" I asked feeling puzzled.

"In the clouds." replied Candy Pop.

"How did I get here exactly?"

"You blew the magic whistle."

I spent the next few days in Candy Land. It was magical and exciting. "How do I get back home?"

"Simple. Just blow the magic whistle three times." replied Rasberry Twister.

I saw the whistle laying on a watermelon. I blew it three times.

"Wake up!" I heard Aunt Lea. I opened my eyes and I was back in bed. Was it just a dream?
