Is this a good thesis statement for both of these stories? “The fall of the house of Usher” and “House taken over” are two houses that are really scary, and all the characters in the stories feel afraid, nervous, once they enter the houses, knowing how it looks, and just how they feel about the houses, feeling like they’re trapped in a nightmare they can’t get out of.
