On page 38 Cherry says; “You greasers have a different set of values. You’re more emotional. We’re sophisticated- cool to the point of not feeling anything. Nothing is real to us.” (Hinton 38) Do you think Cherry was being critical of greasers by labelling them “emotional”? Explain.
