Farmers are always planting and harvesting for us to have crops to eat such as rice. Some of them are growing animals such as fish, chicken, pig, and cows. How can we express our appreciation to them in our little ways?

.Eat and give thanks. As you eat your meals, take a moment to give thanks for the hands that produced and cared for your food, and say a prayer for the farmer, their family and their farm or ranch. . October 12 is National Farmer's Day also known as Old Farmer's Day. This is the perfect time of year to thank a farmer. If you personally know a farmer I suggest thanking them with a thank-you note. If you visit a farmer's market, take a minute to say “thank you” to the farmer when making a purchase.
