This week, we are going to begin reading a short story, The Tiger Rising by Kate DiCamillo, This short book/story will only take us about 3 weeks to complete, so please pay attention and keep up with your daily reading.
You may read the book online for free, and you may also listen to it being read to you. Please see the links below. Each section of reading, you will be asked to summarize the
information that you read, much like we did last semester. See the handout below. Remember that you will be followng Summary B.
Now read chapters 1-10. Summarize all of the main events and characters in these chapters into ONE SUMMARY. This will make you to synthesize information and report
only the most important details. Your summary must be typed in your own words. Plagarized work will receive NO credit. Include many key details. Your summary should be
about 15 - 25 sentences long.
