I can feel him watching me and I’m about to say some sarcastic comment when he asks, “Hey, you wanna feed the ducks?” I look over at him with a shocked expression. “Well?” He says. “I’d love to feed them, but we don’t have any food.” He grins and replies, “You totally underestimate me sunflower.” “What?” I ask as he starts walking back to the car. He quickly comes back with two bags filled with bread crumbs. “Here.” He hands me a bag. “I always come to the park prepared.” I smile and reply, “I never thought you’d be a guy who’s prepared for anything.” “Haha very funny.” We start feeding the ducks and I’m actually having fun. Who would have thought that I’d be at a park feeding ducks with the most annoying guy in the world? Certainly not me.
