There is no real answer to this.

First of all, I'm sorry that this happened.

Here are some steps I recommend to help recover:

1. work on self improvement.

If you improve yourself, it will not only give you a sense of accomplishment, but it will boost your own confidence, ego and will help you feel empowered.

2. surround yourself with good friends

Friends are the MVPs of breakups, they help you get through it and get over that person.

3. do meaningful tasks and activities

Doing these will give you a reason to stay active, motivated and will boost your happiness because you feel that you've done something positive today - which you have!

4. do things that you enjoy!

Take a walk, play games, read, draw!

These activities boost your serotonin levels while also taking your mind off of the break-up, time also will pass faster so you will have less time to dwell on it.

5. focus on yourself, and self-care.

Take showers, wear a nice outfit, trim your nails, do your hair all fancy - this will make you feel more positive even if you're not going anywhere.

Don't do too much of the things you don't enjoy, as well. This will help you relax and feel calmer instead of getting yourself riled up over the break-up.
