ELA. Reread the picture caption on p.32: Atkinson was a brilliant man and a skilled archaeologist who directed work at Stonehenge between 1950 and 1978. But while in this photo he takes precise measurements with measuring tape, he chose not to write up and share his research with fellow scholars. antecedents refers to the phrases, clauses or words which are replaced with one of the third personal pronouns.
