Perfect is the enemy of good means to me that we as people can try so hard to be perfect that we will break down and push away whoever we need to so we can reach this impossible perfection. As people in society, we feel the want and need to give this false air of perfection. But to achieve this we usually push away our loved ones and break some sort of moral code shattering the good that we once were. to try to achieve this unachievable perfection. But in reality, we should just try to preserve our good and be ourselves
