Famous computer engineer Mikaela Hobbs was blessed with a father
who recognized her talent for electronics when she was very young.
He would come home with spare parts from the machine shop where
he worked and discover the next day that Mikaela had wired them
together to accomplish a simple task. Later, in her many award-
acceptance speeches, she thanked her father for being the main
influence on her career.
