Imagine being 2 years old and coming to America because you have leukemia. You stay in America with a medical visa in order to get treatment. Your dad then comes to America with a work visa, but then everything goes wrong. In the aftermath of September 11, 2001, your dad's work gets delayed. You learn that your dad does not have a work visa anymore, and is not able to be in America legally, so your family files for a case so you can stay in America. Later in your life, you apply for DACA so you can be in America legally.
