3. Positive ⇒This is a positive way of calling someone intelligent.

4. Positive ⇒Exquisite is a positive word.

5. Negative ⇒ Pushy implies force which makes it negative.

6. Negative ⇒ Cunning is usually used to describe deceit so is negative.

PART B:

Mispronouncing a person's name can make the person annoyed but it is not generally enough to make the person mad or outraged as those imply heavy annoyance.

8. A. Tiffany sprinted down the hall.

Tiffany being late for school does not mean that they will race to class and running does not seem serious enough so sprinting is the best choice.

9. C. Everyone thought the model's outfit was plain

Describing something as dull or ugly is quite negative and insulting to a point. Using 'plain' however, makes it bearable and more positive.

10. C. The con man had spent many years locked-up for his crimes.

This is the most negative of the options because using the word locked-up gives the impression that the man was thrown in a cage like an animal.
