The main idea of the story,  John Booth is very preplanned about the things he has done and he seems sharp about killing the president. “ Then, at a stride, he passed the threshold again, leveled his arm at the President, and bent the trigger” this little piece of evidence from the story shows that he is sharp like he wanted an angle or spot to shoot at the right time. He planned the president’s assassination with a couple of his friends and his plan had work. This also would mean that he knew the theater like the back of his hand or when he planned it, it would automatically work like that.
