Book: The Kite Runner (pgs 1-10) Briefly explain the context and the significance of the following quote,

"That's the one thing Shi'a people do well," he said, picking up his papers, "passing themselves as martyrs" He wrinkled his nose when he said the word Shi'a, like it was some kind of disease" (Hosseini 8).

peace, morning, sun glooming, sorrow, woe pardon’d, punished, more hence, talk, story. all of these three words have to do something with a depressed, regretful tone. woe is another word for misery, heartache, so all of these words are about unhappy feelings.

i just want to let you know that my children are just amazing. i am just so proud of them and for how far they have come. they are the best thing that i have ever done in my life. they are successful and have accomplished a lot in their lives. i know for sure that they are my greatest success in my life.
