Intro: Sumer was the beginning of recorded civilization. recorded language- cuneiform

used for 2000 years as a way to record stuff made and traded and later to record ideas

Many of the Sumer City state citizens were able to create/invent tools out of necessity due to a lack of resources. the Sumer people invented the idea of mass producing things so they could get the corner on the market in trade.
