Pls help The author uses the argument between Judson and his wife to foreshadow the ending of the story because Maria try's to tell Judson that poisoning the whiskey is a bad idea she says“I can’t bear to think of that deathtrap waiting there all the time. ” After he said "No one is going to get hurt who hasn’t got it coming to him.” At the end Judson actually drinks it so he had it coming to him.
