Apollo 204 Review Board Members identified the conditions that led to the disaster, and then
they asked the question of how these conditions came to exist. After carefully considering, the
Board concluded that in its devotion to the many difficult problems of space travel, the Apollo
team failed to pay enough attention to certain mundane but equally vital questions of crew
safety. The Board's investigation revealed many deficiencies in design and engineering,
manufacture and quality control. When these deficiencies are corrected the overall reliability of
the Apollo Program will be increased greatly.

it's a way for authors to communicate with reader in this time period. books from the past can teach us about life.

"solitude is an inner concept rather than an outward one" is the statement among the choices given that  would be included in a summary of paragraph one of society and solitude. the correct option among all the options that are given in the question is the third option or option "c". i hope the answer you.

edwards uses the phrase "o who can express what the state of a soul in such circumstances is! " in order to illustrate that this type of suffering is unimaginable. the word "express" denoted that the state of a suffering soul is required to be described by any person, but it would not happen because no one can imagine how this suffering is felt.  

-show what might happen if the reader disobeys edwards is not correct because this is described trhough the text, not by the phrase used.

-describe what endless suffering looks and feels like is not correct because this description might be the porpuse of the excerpt provided, not the porpuse of using the phrase during the writting.
