In the book of Romeo and Juliet people can tell that girls were often married at a young age and it was a cultural practice. Paris tells Capulet that girls younger than Juliet are mothers and are happy, however Capulet says to let two years go by before asking for a hand in marriage. The language that is used is Old English. Its is showed all throughout the book that people from high status speak in a poetic and (weird) way while the lower class and servants would speak without structure.There are difference between our world now and the world depicted in the book : Juliet is in an arranged marriage with Paris. This is not as likely to happen in the 21st century.
