Holmer wrote the Iliad sometime in the 8th century B.C. It recounts the 52 days during the final year of the ten-year conflict. It is centered around Helen of Troy and Achilles (the guy with the heel). Much to our disappointment, historians believe that the Iliad was a work of fiction, and if it did happen, it was not over a princess and did not involve a practically immoral man.
