It is thewedding day of the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Bloon. As the bride arrives at the church she says, “It may be an indoor wedding, but I’m still so glad that it didn’t rain today.” As the beautiful bride enters the church and walks down the aisle her dress brushes against a helium balloon. The balloon rises up to the ceiling. The bride reaches the groom just as the balloon hits the fire safety sprinkler system. The sprinkler is triggered and water rains down on the entire church drenching everyone in ‘indoor rain’. 4. What kind of irony is being used in this story?
