Read the story prompt. Use the Narrative Organization Chart to plan your own story featuring the two teens as characters and the setting described in the prompt.
Start with your characters walking home from the secret meeting and discovering the time capsule. Take your reader through the rising action as they decide what to do with their discovery. Create a climax where they make an important decision to resolve the conflict. End with a resolution to show us how the events resolve and to share a theme.
