On Friday, July 10, 1942 Anne says, "Then I had a chance, for the first time since our arrival, to tell you all about it, and at the same time to realize myself what had actually happened to me and what was still going to happen." This shows that even with the seriousness of the situation she still is not mature enough to realize what's really going on around her.  Anne was immature in the beginning, but as she got older she really understood her situation. On Monday, July 16, 1943 Anne says, "North Amsterdam was very heavily bombed on SundayUp till now there are two hundred dead, and countless wounded; the hospitals are crammed...I shudder when I recall the dull droning rumble..." Anne is now acknowledging what is happening around her, and that is showed she had matured. Also in the beginning she didn't mind not having privacy, but as she matured she was annoyed by the lack of privacy. This evidence all shows that through the years Anne had become mature in the end.
