an object that has a special meaning in my life is probably music, it's something that keeps me going everyday in this dangerous world, and it might have a same meaning to others because music is the most purist form of art out there and everyone can enjoy music.

The copy of Oliver Twist that I got for my 10th birthday holds a special meaning to me. My brother gave it to me, and he told me to pay attention to the lesson in the story. So it's kind of a guide to life for me. In the book, the title character experiences a series of challenges and unfortunate events. In spite of these troubles, he resists every attempt by others to corrupt him. This book reminds me that I shouldn’t let others change me, either. I should always do what I think is morally right.

I doubt many people would feel the same way about the book. They would simply appreciate it as a good piece of fiction.
