Throughout the story, we learn only what John knows from his own perceptions about the Place of the Gods. In this writing assignment, choose a place that is familiar. Write a description of this place from another vantage point. For instance, describe the place through the eyes of your dog, your cat, a shoe, etc. Remember not to use descriptions that you would know; include only things your subject could know. Your paragraph must include at least four concrete and four sensory details. All generalizations must be substantiated with supporting details. Use a variety of sentences and sentence structures in this assignment.
