This is the third part of my story. You can find the first and second part on my profile. Do you like it? Any new ideas or feedback? I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock, not a pleasant sound. I hate that sound so much. I am not looking forward to today. I turn off my alarm clock and roll back on my bed. I am not a morning person. Maybe just 5 more minutes. “Yo yo girl! Wake up sunshine! Today is going to be great!” Ava. Of course. I forgot to mention that my best friend is kind of crazy. I don’t know how anyone can like mornings. I ignored her and put the pillow over my head. I am not in the mood. Ava walks over to me and pulls the covers off of me as well as the pillow off of my head. “Come on Si! Get up!” “Ava, why are you like this?” I ask her in my normal annoyed morning tone. “It’s our first day of school this year! We need to look super cute! You might even meet your mystery boy again!” She says that with a devilish smirk. Great. Just great. She just had to bring him up. “Ava stop. I just want to forget about him. Plus, he doesn’t even go to our school.” I say with an eye roll. “Whatever you say Si, but I know you secretly want to see him again.” “AVA!” I throw my pillow at her and immediately start dying of laughter. She gives me an annoyed look and says, “Well I’m glad my pain can bring you happiness.” “Oh come on Ava, it was a pillow.” We both start laughing. Next thing I know, Ava pulls me out of the bed and I fall to the floor. Now she’s the one dying of laughter. “Ow, I think you killed me.” I say with sarcasm. “Don’t be such a drama queen! Now come on! Get up! We are going to be late.” I stand up and roll my eyes for the hundredth time today. Okay, not literally but it feels that way. Ava throws a pair of shorts and a pink crop top at me and says, “Here put this on!” I’m not going to lie, this outfit is cute but definitely not my style for school. I sigh. “Ava do I have to wear this? I wanted to wear sweats and my favorite hoodie.” She glares at me. “Sila, ew! You can not wear sweats on your first day of school! You need to make an impression!” I’m not interested in impressing anyone but there is no point to argue with her. “Fine.” I say while heading to the bathroom to get ready. After a few minutes, I come out fully dressed and ready. “You look so cute!” Ava says as I come out of the bathroom. “Thanks! So do you!” She is wearing a super cute purple dress. Again, not sure why she always makes me dress up for school but I’ll admit, we look adorable. Ava is looking at me like she’s confused. Not sure what that’s about. “Ava? Why are you looking at me like that?” She smiles. Oh no. “I need to do your hair and don’t argue because it’s happening!” I roll my eyes. Again. I sit down and let her do whatever she has planned. After she finishes, my hair is in two, perfectly dutch braided pig-tales. I’ll say, it’s cute. “Now you look amazing!” I smile at her. She grabs her keys and says, “Let’s go rock school!”
