This is the second part for a story! ENJOY! "They keep coming out of nowhere! I need to get rid of them." I picked up some of these lizards and toss them across the street. I go back and pick up a few more and toss them over. But then I stopped and I realized that a car has stopped in the middle of the road right under the street light. It looked like Rick's car! What is he doing in the middle of the road? It's been almost twenty minutes since he left and I guess he's been sitting there this whole time. Then I hear Roxanne come out of the Resturaunt. "Hey what's going on and what's with all the banging?" "Rick's car is stopped in the middle of the road under the street light. I'm gonna go check on him." "Yeah alright well... I'm going with you. This cleanup can take a break." Anyways we start walking over there with a flashlight that was dim and almost dead. I kept having to smack it on my hand to make the light come on. As we're walking down the street I start to notice that his door is open on his car. Was it like that before. I couldn't tell. It took a few for us to reach the car. His car was black and was an old Chevy. His first car he said he had as a kid. He said he always took care of his car, but it was just a little weird how he was sitting in it in the middle of the road. Maybe he was out of gas? It couldn't have been that because he would've walked back to the resturaunt and grabbed one of the gas cans we had placed in the storage room. So maybe he had to look for something? "You think he's alright?" "Yeah, old man is getting old. He probably broke his back." "Hm yeah your probably right." We were both laughing as we were getting ready to come up to the car."Hey Rick you alright?" I asked walking up to the car. "Rick are you okay?" No answer... I ran up to the car now and go to take a look in the driver's seat. "What? What's wrong?" "He's not here..." "What? Where did he go? He couldn't have just walked off?" I start to scream his name now and hear my voice bounce off the thin air that was outside. "RICK!" No answer... What's going on? This is like something you'd see out of a horror movie. "This is scary Chap. I don't like how this is going." "It's alright just get in the car, i'll drive us back to the resturaunt." The keys were still in the ignition and I drive off. The car ate up so much gas because the engine in it was a V8. That's a very good engine it had. Just the money on gas you have to spend on this beauty. I could see why he loves this car though. It sounds good, like it purring to me as I drive slowly down the street. "Why are you driving so slow?" "It's Mr. Rick's car. I don't want to ruin it on him. Besides this car sounds good." "Oh my god, you keep acting like that then you'll disappear. Maybe that's why he left the car, was because he loved the car so much he had to break up with it for a while." We're both laughing again with each other and her laugh was so beautiful. When she laughed it made me smile cause this is what bonding was like and me talking to her always made her feel better too. "By the way, when were you going to tell me that you threw out the meal I was saving for myself for later on. When I was in the dumpster I noticed it while I was trying to get a lizard out." "Yeah sorry about that. I guess I was just more tired before than now." "It's alright I'm only playing with you." "Chap?" "Yeah?" She looked into my eyes deep and I could feel them in my soul. Her eyes are beautiful. They were like a a very light blue. They didn't match her at all, but that's what was so cool and cute about her. "What do you really think happened to Rick?" I wanted to say that he's sleeping out there somewhere but when i think about it, I feel like something really did happen to him, like he was taken. But there was no sign of anybody else out here. So I just rolled with it. "I don't know, the old man is sleeping out there somehwere in the wild west but who knows. We pull up to the resturaunt and park in front of it. When we get out to go back inside another lizard is there banging his tail against the glass door. "What is going on with these lizards? I just got rid of all of them before when we left." "What do you mean? There were more than this one?" "Yeah almost like ten of them when I put them across the street before, just banging their tail against the wall.
