John Steinbeck, the author of Of Mice and Men, sets up the story perfectly for the reader. We know there is a tragedy waiting to happen. The events in chapter one especially, FORESHADOWS what is going to happen to Lennie. Based on what you have read in chapters one and two, make a prediction as to what is going to happen towards the end of the story regarding Lennie.

In your paragraph, mention one or two events from chapter one. Then, try and make a prediction about Lennie's future. Try to give some reasons for your thinking. DO NOT USE "BECAUSE" IN YOUR RESPONSE.

I need this sometime today. Please write REAL answers.
